The Farmer’s Son black pudding is made by hand to a one-hundred-year-old family recipe, giving it a lean, well-seasoned character. This award-winning Scottish black pudding is made with no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives and is free from added sugar or dairy.
Water, Scotch Beef Fat (10%), Oatmeal (Oats), Rice, Wheat Flour (Gluten), Pork Blood, Pork (3%), Pork Rind, Salt, Pepper, Scotch Beef (2%), Spices.
Allergens: Oatmeal (Oats), Wheat Flour (Gluten).
Suitable for freezing. Keep refrigerated below 4° C.
If freezing, freeze on day of purchase and consume within 1 month.
Defrost thoroughly and use within 24 hours. Once thawed do not re-freeze. Do not exceed use by date. Once opened keep refrigerated and consume within 48 hours.
Grill – Place sliced pudding on a rack in a preheated grill and cook on a high heat for approximately 3-4 minutes on each side.
Oven Cook – Preheat oven to 180°C and cook on a tray for 10-15 minutes. Do not overcook.
Shallow Fry – Heat a small amount of oil in a frying pan and cook 2cm slices for 2½ minutes on each side on medium heat.
