As an essential food shop, we are remaining open for business but we are now only delivering to customers nationwide.

Online Orders

Due to overwhelming demand, we are currently running behind but we can assure you that if you have made an order with us we will deliver it to you as soon as possible.

We are a small team, family team and we are extremely busy at this moment in time. We are trying to get order out for local delivery quickly, but every order take us a certain amount of time to prepare, pack and organise.

We pride ourselves on fantastic customer service and we are currently working around the clock to try to reduce our delivery times which has been, at times, overwhelming with the amount of orders we are receiving on a daily basis.

We truly would like to apologise for any delays and hope you understand.

Easter Orders

Please note, orders received after 12pm on Thursday 8th April may not be shipped in time for Easter.

If your order is within a 10 mile radius we may still be able to get your order to you. Please contact us for more information.

Your health and safety is our top priority, so we want to proactively share the following information:

  • Currently, there is no evidence of food-borne transmission of COVID-19 and no relevant risk or concern associated with food delivery Please see
  • Within our shop, Meat & Cleaver has placed extra emphasis on our already stringent processes. Every employee handling products and boxes wears protective gloves, and all employees are trained on proper handwashing, safe food handling, and effective preventive action.
  • Social distancing measures are steps you can take to reduce social interaction between people. This will help reduce the transmission of coronavirus (COVID-19). For more information about the recommendations by Public Health England visit:

We would like to thank all of our customers for their patience and understanding, at what is undoubtedly a testing time for all of us. We would also like to say a huge thank you to our amazing staff who are working hard under immense pressure.

    I would like to send some steaks to my brother for his birthday next Saturday 25th April. When would be best to get in touch to ask about your stock levels and when would I need to place an order for it to arrive on his bday? I am especially interested in t-bone or tomahawk steaks 🙂

      Hi Chantel, if place your order through the website and put a comment in the notes at checkout with his birthday and as long as it doesnt fall on a sunday we can make this happen for you:)
