Important Notice For Our Customers
As an essential food shop, we are remaining open for business as normal this week.
Your health and safety is our top priority so we are therefore allowing only 2 customers in the shop at any time. We are also requesting that you observe the social distancing recommendations of ensuring that you stay at least 2 meters away from other people, as outlined by Public Health England.
Additionally, we are trying to keep contact to a minimum and request that you make all payments by card only, unless you have the exact money, which should be placed into a separate container.
We will remain open as normal until Saturday 28th March 2020.
As of Sunday 29th March 2020 we will be providing our meats for home delivery only.
For home delivery, please call us on 01279 876575.
We feel this is the safest way for us to continue and to provide our services at this difficult time.
Due to overwhelming demand, we are currently unable to service online orders.
Online stock levels do not necessarily reflect our stock levels in the shop. If you would like to enquire about what meats we have available, please call us on 01279 876575 or email email@example.com.
Your Health & Safety
Your health and safety is our top priority, so we want to proactively share the following information:
- Currently, there is no evidence of food-borne transmission of COVID-19 and no relevant risk or concern associated with food delivery Please see https://www.euractiv.com/section/coronavirus/news/no-evidence-of-covid-19-transmission-through-food-says-efsa/.
- Within our shop, Meat & Cleaver has placed extra emphasis on our already stringent processes. Every employee handling products and boxes wears protective gloves, and all employees are trained on proper handwashing, safe food handling, and effective preventive action.
- Social distancing measures are steps you can take to reduce social interaction between people. This will help reduce the transmission of coronavirus (COVID-19).
