Keeping Safe, Well & Fed
We want to take this opportunity to reassure all of our customers and the local community that we are here to support you during this difficult time.
As a family business who have been supporting our local community for many years, we are continuing to operate and able to provide our quality meat both locally and throughout the UK.
We can deliver locally to elderly relatives, loved ones, neighbours on your behalf. All local orders will be delivered by our team who can be instructed to leave parcels at doors without the need to have face-to-face contact with any customer.
Over the past few days, we have seen an unprecedented spike in demand for our meat and produce. Our aim is to fulfil as many of these orders on time as we possibly can while keeping you and our staff safe. As demand continues to rise, we are, unfortunately, predicting delivery delays in the near future. We are doing everything possible to make sure you receive your order as quickly as possible but there is a chance that it may arrive late.
We ask that you bear with us at this time and know that where possible, we will get your order to you as quickly as possible.
In addition, you may see limited stock in the coming weeks. As always, we will communicate the status of your order should any changes arise.
We will try to keep our website up-to-date with regards to stock levels but this may not always be possible. Of course, we will try to honour all orders though we may need to contact you should any items be out of stock and offer alternatives where possible.
Your Health & Safety
Your health and safety is our top priority, so we want to proactively share the following information:
- Currently, there is no evidence of food-borne transmission of COVID-19 and no relevant risk or concern associated with food delivery Please see https://www.euractiv.com/section/coronavirus/news/no-evidence-of-covid-19-transmission-through-food-says-efsa/.
- Within our shop, Meat & Cleaver has placed extra emphasis on our already stringent processes. Every employee handling products and boxes wears protective gloves, and all employees are trained on proper handwashing, safe food handling, and effective preventive action.
We thank you in advance for your patience and support.
